Coast is Clear!

Our coast is clear here at Regency Towers condominium resort. Today is June 7th and the looks of the water maybe harsh with a double red flag flying, warning us to stay out of the water… but this is due to the dangerous tides and waves that the storm has brought to us, not a warning about the oil. Please dont be confused or alarmed by this. A double red flag has been in our flag system for years. The only purpose it serves is to caution swimmers to stay out due to strong surf, because even the best of swimmers can get taken back with these rip currents. Somedays when the beach has one red flag up but have a high volume of rescues they will be changed to double red flag. Our flag system is for the swimmers safety and we urge our guest here at Regency and to all visitors of Panama City Beach to follow the flag system.
